Strange Neighbors (Strange Neighbors, #1)Strange Neighbors by Ashlyn Chase

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I was in the mood for a lighthearted and humorous paranormal romance and this fits that description, but I just wasn't feeling it. It's not a bad book, it just isn't keeping my attention.

It's a shame this one didn't work for you. It looks fun. I love your short, to the point reviews, by the way.

Hey, thanks! I mostly do them as honest little notes to myself so I know whether or not to pick up more books from the same authors when I see them. That way I don't have to rely quite so much on my overcrowded memory. ;)

It really was a cute book and I think a lot of people would enjoy it, but I think for me it got a little lost in the secondary characters, and I wasn't feeling the H/H connection I look for in a great book. But, to be fair, my attention span (and patience) with books is all over the place, and I've noticed I'm more critical when I've just finished an especially good book or series. Case in point, the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian has me temporarily spoiled.
